We're getting married!

June 20, 2026 — Barcelona

Barcelona

The first stop on our year long travel adventure was in Spain. We both quickly fell in love with Barcelona, and felt a strong pull to return there after our trip was done. Barcelona offers 295 days of sunshine each year, comfortably warm summers, beautiful beaches, fantastic food, excellent public transportation, and easily walkable neighborhoods throughout the city.

We decided that Spain felt the most like the place we'd like to call home one day, and the place we wanted to start our lives as a married couple together. We are thrilled to share our favorite place with our favorite people on what will become our favorite day.

Keep saving up for travel expenses

Should be done

We'll be working to make sure the trip is as smooth and affordable as possible, but we also know international travel will still be expensive.

Check or apply for Passports

Should be done

Everyone coming needs a passport! Your passport must be valid for 6 months after leaving Europe. So, for example, if you're planning on staying until the end of June 2026, your passport must be valid until the end of December 2026. If you have a passport, and it expires before then, you must renew it.

Respond to RSVPs

Should be done

All RSVPs were due by February 20th . If you need to make a change, please let us know directly.

Do Now

Buy plane tickets

As soon as possible

Plane tickets are the most expensive part of the trip, and the best time to purchase may be different depending on what airport you're flying from or other travel plans you may have before or after the wedding. The best piece of advice we can give is to buy tickets as soon as you reasonably can. Don't wait for the "perfect" deal!

Do Now

Book accommodations

As soon as possible

We have searched the area and contacted hotels and have recommendations listed on the Travel page. The hotels in the area generally aren't very large, so we can't guarantee a room will be available for everyone at one hotel. If you'd like to stay at the hotel where the shuttle will pick up from, we suggest booking soon (even before flights).

Celebrate

June 20, 2026

We have plans set for a welcome dinner the night before the wedding, a brunch the following day, and we may add smaller optional events the week of. For more info, you can view the schedule here.
